RunX gearbox enquiries lean heavily on the 5-speed C56 manual (140i and 160i) and the A245E 4-speed automatic found on 160i trims ordered with the optional auto box. The toyota runx transmission category covers both, plus the standout C64 6-speed manual exclusive to the 180i RSi — a considerably scarcer unit. Used tested C56 manuals run R4,500-R7,500 and A245E autos sit at R7,000-R11,000. C64 6-speed boxes from the 2ZZ-GE RSi are the rarity, priced R9,500-R18,000 depending on synchro condition and whether the RSi-specific gear ratios are intact.

Used clutch kits, pressure plates, flywheels, release bearings, clutch master and slave cylinders, driveshafts, CV joints and differential housings round out the shelves for all three variants. The RSi clutch is uprated to handle 141kW and is priced R1,800-R3,500 for a used low-mileage pull. Every gearbox is bench-rotated, oil-drained and synchromesh-inspected before listing, with a 30-day exchange guarantee on installed units at referred fitment workshops in JHB and CPT.
