Classic EP-series cars use small 13-inch rotors with basic single-piston calipers — brake pads, brake discs and brake shoes for rear drums are readily available new and used at Gemini Parts and Caryota Spare. The modern 2020+ Starlet runs disc/drum or full disc depending on trim, with ABS standard across the range and EBD on higher specs. We stock OEM-equivalent brake pad sets (front and rear), ventilated discs, brake calipers, brake hoses, master cylinders and ABS sensors for all K14B models. Front pad sets typically run R380-R750, discs R480-R900 each side. For the EP82 GT Turbo we also stock the upgraded vented front rotors preferred by the modified-scene community for track days. Both depots ship nationwide with workshop trade pricing available on request.

Do classic Starlet EP82s still have rear drums?

Most EP82 variants run rear drum brakes, including shoes, wheel cylinders and self-adjuster hardware. GT Turbo models sometimes had upgraded rear discs depending on spec. We stock drum shoes, wheel cylinders and full hardware kits for restoration jobs.
