Clutch kits for taxi duty are a different spec from private-use kits — heavier pressure plate rating, stronger friction compound. Budget R3,500-R6,500 for a new aftermarket heavy-duty kit from the JHB depot. Differential failures on the Quantum are rare but expensive — used rear diff assemblies run R4,500-R9,500. Always swap the rear oil seals at the same job.
