Register your year and we'll set stock aside when a clean pair comes in.

Can I still get Cressida headlights for a 1985 X70?

X70 Cressida composite headlights are scarce. Clean pairs from CPT donors typically run R2,500-R5,500 with the chrome bezel intact. Rust pitting on the bezel is the most common write-off reason. Aftermarket sealed-beam substitutes are available for earlier X30/X40 cars at R450-R1,200 each from the JHB depot, but not for X70 composite housings.

Do LED bulbs work in Cressida headlight housings?

H4 LED drop-in bulbs will physically fit the X70 and X80 housings and are available from R800-R2,000 per pair. The beam pattern through old glass reflectors is unpredictable, so SA roadworthy compliance is not guaranteed. For a concours-correct restoration, stay on halogen H4. For a daily drift car, LEDs are common but get the headlamp aim checked after installation.
